Christmas Stocking (Patriotic or Traditional):
The 2 color cuff of this stocking is worked back and forth. Then the stitches are divided onto double pointed needles and the stocking is worked in the round.
Materials:
Needles - Two US 7 (4.5mm) needles, five US 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles or size to obtain gauge.
Yarn - worsted weight wool in red, white & blue or red, white & green, 1 skein (1.75oz/50gm) of each color.
Gauge - 5 stitches & 7 rows per inch over stockinet stitch.
