Needles - Four size US 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles or size to obtain gauge, 1 darning needle.
Yarn - worsted weight yarn in red, white & blue, 1 skein (1.75oz/50gm) of each color.
Gauge - 5 stitches per inch over stockinet stitch.
