Materials:
Preemie size: Sport weight yarn, US 3(3.25) mm needles to achieve gauge of 5.5 stitches/inch and US 2(2.75 mm) needles.
Newborn size: Dk weight yarn, US 5(3.75 mm) needles to achieve gauge of 5 stitches/inch, and US 4(3.5 mm) needles.
Slightly bigger newborn size: Worsted weight yarn, US 7(4.5 mm) needles to achieve gauge of 4.5 stitches/inch, and US 6(4 mm) needles.
Yarn - 2oz main color, and a few yards of contrasting color.
