 To fit head sizes: Medium, 21-22” Materials: MC – Main Colour (medium hue), 2 skeins any knitting worsted weight yarn (1.75 oz/50 g approx. = 110 yards/100 metres) CC1 – Contrast Colour 1 (dark hue), 1 skein any knitting worsted weight yarn (1.75 oz/50 g approx. = 110 yards/100 metres) CC2 – Contrast Colour 2 (light hue), 1 skein any knitting worsted weight yarn (1.75 oz/50 g approx. = 110 yards/100 metres) Four 4 mm double-pointed needles, four 4.5 mm double-pointed needles and four 5 mm double-pointed needles or size to obtain gauge marker, darning needle Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4"/10 cm over stockinette st with 4.5 mm needles Finished measurements: Circumference 18.5”, stretches to 22” Length with folded cuff 8.5” Terms: dpn(s) - double-pointed needle(s) k - knit k2tog - knit 2 stitches together p - purl pm - place marker rnd(s) - round(s) st(s) - stitch(es) Instructions: With MC and 4 mm dpns, cast on 96 sts distributing evenly over 3 needles, pm and join. CUFF Rnd 1: *K2, p2, repeat from * to end of rnd. Repeat Rnd 1 11 more times. Next round: K. Repeat Rnd 1 13 more times. BODY Change to 4.5 mm and with CC1, k 1 rnd, then p 3 rnds. With MC, k 2 rnds.
